DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Most of the products we create are made in small batch production, typically under 50 units per run, keeping them unique. Our vertical structure allows us to keep our prices down despite this small batch nature. We scour the globe for the best textile partners, then handle the design and manufacturing in house. Many of our products are proudly made in America. We have partnered with skilled craftsmen around the country using old world techniques to achieve our small batch production runs.
Our button down shirts are exclusively from fabrics miled from the finest mills in italy. Wherever you see the boot, the fabric comes from one of our renowned Italian mills.
Our tees, henleys and polos are all made with organic cotton milled for its softness and perfect weight. Check out our line of cotton products and feel the difference for yourself.
HISTORY
BORN FROM TRADITION
Our company was founded by a second generation haberdasher, Raja Ratan, who still resides in our West Village location. We are the younger brother of Q Clothier (www.qclothier.com), a nationally acclaimed bespoke clothier dealing the finest custom garments to the most discriminating clientele in the country. Rye 51 was started in response to consistent requests by our customers for a destination for high quality, timeless, men's sportswear in a comfortable, high service environment.
